KYOTO LAUNDRY CAFE / 多文化共生ラボ 京都の支援団体・西院Multicultural Coexistence Lab
Support Organization in Kyoto – Saiin Area

ブレンディングコミュニティ blending community
Blending Community, based at KYOTO LAUNDRY CAFE in central Kyoto, provides a welcoming space where locals and international residents can connect. Kyoto is known for tourism, but many foreigners living here are spread out, making support hard to reach. Through language cafes, cultural events, and walking tours, we create natural opportunities for connection. We also run meetup.kyoto, a multilingual site sharing information on housing, jobs, healthcare, and more, plus we offer life consultations in English, Chinese, and Korean. Our goal is to build a place where anyone can feel at home and say, “I belong here.”

Cafe Neighbors / ランゲージエクスチェンジ 京都・大宮 Language Exchange – Kyoto Omiya

Cafe Neighbors, located just a 4-minute walk from Hankyu Omiya Station in Kyoto, is a cozy spot loved by both locals and international visitors. Known for its freshly roasted coffee and homemade cakes, it’s more than just a café — it’s a place where people come together. They also host language classes and international exchange events, creating a relaxed space to meet new friends and explore different cultures. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee while building global connections right in the neighborhood.

Nihongo Club House Musubi – A fun and unique community space / 国際コミュニティスペース 京都・二条 – Kyoto Nijo

"Nihongo Club House Musubi" is a fun and unique community space where you can learn Japanese while experiencing Japanese culture. They host all kinds of events like hands-on cultural workshops, food events, and international exchange parties, making it easy to learn and have fun at the same time. On weekends, you can also join relaxing yoga sessions to refresh both your body and mind. It’s more than just language learning — it’s a hidden spot where you can connect, explore culture, and unwind, all in one place.

Nanahaya / Kyoto Historical Walking Tours & Free Walk Events フリーウォーク京都

Have you ever walked through the streets of Kyoto and wondered, "What is the story behind this stone monument?" or "What used to be here in this alleyway long ago?" If so, I’d love for you to discover the work of Nanahaya.

We do more than just explain history. Our mission is to "connect history," creating exciting, immersive experiences that bring the streets of Kyoto to life. Beyond walking tours, we also host relaxed workshops in cozy cafés, where we dive into fascinating topics like Kyoto’s spiritual boundaries (kekkai) and the legends of the Onmyoji.

Whether you're a history buff or just curious, everyone is welcome! Our events are held on an irregular schedule, so please follow our Instagram account to stay updated and check out our upcoming plans.
