Blending Community, based at KYOTO LAUNDRY CAFE in central Kyoto, provides a welcoming space where locals and international residents can connect. Kyoto is known for tourism, but many foreigners living here are spread out, making support hard to reach. Through language cafes, cultural events, and walking tours, we create natural opportunities for connection. We also run meetup.kyoto, a multilingual site sharing information on housing, jobs, healthcare, and more, plus we offer life consultations in English, Chinese, and Korean. Our goal is to build a place where anyone can feel at home and say, “I belong here.”

They host all kinds of events like hands-on cultural workshops, food events, and international exchange parties, making it easy to learn and have fun at the same time. On weekends, you can also join relaxing yoga sessions to refresh both your body and mind.
